Ingredients

  • 1 lb breafast sausage
  • ¼ cup all purpose flour
  • 2 ½ cups whole milk
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper

Method

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook sausage until browned an fully cooked. Don’t drain the fat.
  2. Sprinkle the flour evenly over the sausage and stir well to coat the meat and absorb the fat. Cook for about 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.
  3. Gradually pour in the milk while stirring and stir until the mixture is smooth and starts to thicken.
  4. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  5. If it gets too thick, add in more milk to adjust the consistency until it is your preferred texture. Serve warm over biscuits! Enjoy!
