Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp sugar or honey
  • 1 cup sourdough discard
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup olive or avocado oil melted butter works too
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

Step 1: Preheat Your Waffle Iron
  1. Heat your waffle maker according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Step 2: Mix the Dry Ingredients
  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
Step 3: Mix the Wet Ingredients
  1. In a separate bowl, whisk together the sourdough discard, eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla.
Step 4: Combine
